 Definition: A platform for students to publish text, audios, or video online with which they can reflect and articulate thoughts through writing, audio recording, or video, enhancing their cognitive and metacognitive skills.

Blogs provide an opportunity for students to directly communicate with the publishers in which they read materials. Students can ask questions and get direct answers from the source. Blogs are also a great way for students to publish their work for everyone to see. Students work so hard in school, and their work deserves to be shared and open to feedback. The group collaboration and design of blogs promote higher-order thinking skills for students.
